"生词"的英文怎么写?

new word 给我的感觉是太中国式英语了。

我们老师给我们生词的话，一般说vocabulary.
如： Reading will increase your vocabulary.
（阅读将增加你的词汇量） （此句摘自牛津辞典。）
这里说的词汇量 肯定是指你不会的生词。

另外北美我没听过 new word， vocabularies(vocabulary的复数）倒是经常听得到。

所以我觉得你问的答案应该是 vocabulary
